Courts, scores, and standings — right here.

Individual Play: Players rotate partners within a small group of 4 players. Round-Robin Format: Players play a round-robin (playing with everyone else in their group twice) each week. Score: Games end when a team reaches 10 points (no need to win by 2 points). Players post final points onto court score sheets. Points: maximum 60 points can be earned per week. Penalty: If you miss 1 week, we (the committee) will attempt to replace you with a substitute player (The committee will be working on a substitute list). In your absence, you will receive the substitute player's score minus 5 points. This will not affect the absent player's DUPR score. The substitute player will get their points recorded in DUPR. YOU MUST NOTIFY EITHER CRAIG TROXCLAIR AT 209-351-3719 OR MARY ANN STENSON AT 209-406-7227 BY THE THURSDAY PRIOR TO YOUR ABSENCE. DUPR Ranking System: Individual points will be entered into DUPR by the Pickleball Committee each week. Movement: After each session, the highest-performing players move up 1 court (unless you are on court 1), while the lowest-performing players move down 1 court (unless you are on court 5).

Players compete with their assigned mixer teams and should report to the court shown on the published schedule. Games begin at the sound of the guitar riff -- no early starts, although players may warm up before each game. Games are 12 minutes long. The first team to 15 points wins (no win-by-two). Teams may switch sides when one side reaches 8 points. One person from each team reports the winner and final score to the scorekeeper. If time is called during play, finish the rally and report the current score. If tied, play one deciding point. The team with the most wins at the end of the mixer is the winner. In the event of a tie, total team points will come into play.

Players compete in full four-player courts during a single day of play. Players are seeded by either an internal ordinal ranking or an admin-adjusted DUPR rating. The top four players begin on Court 1, the next four on Court 2, continuing through every available court. On every court, the best- and worst-ranked players partner against the middle two players. After each round, the winning team moves up one court and the losing team moves down one court. Winners on Court 1 and losers on the bottom court stay on their court. Each player on the winning team earns points based on court position. Scoring: #1 Court: Winners get 5 points, losers get 4 points #2 Court: Winners get 4 points, losers get 3 points #3 Court: Winners get 3 points, losers get 2 points #4 Court: Winners get 2 points, losers get 1 point #5 Court: Winners get 1 point, losers get 0 points The male with the most points will be crowned the Regency Pickleball King and the female with the most points will be crowned the Regency Pickleball Queen.
