Champion of the Courts
Champions of the Court #1 Rules
Players compete in full four-player courts during a single day of play.
Players are seeded by either an internal ordinal ranking or an admin-adjusted DUPR rating.
The top four players begin on Court 1, the next four on Court 2, continuing through every available court.
On every court, the best- and worst-ranked players partner against the middle two players.
After each round, the winning team moves up one court and the losing team moves down one court. Winners on Court 1 and losers on the bottom court stay on their court.
Each player on the winning team earns points based on court position.
Scoring:
#1 Court: Winners get 5 points, losers get 4 points
#2 Court: Winners get 4 points, losers get 3 points
#3 Court: Winners get 3 points, losers get 2 points
#4 Court: Winners get 2 points, losers get 1 point
#5 Court: Winners get 1 point, losers get 0 points
The male with the most points will be crowned the Regency Pickleball King and the female with
the most points will be crowned the Regency Pickleball Queen.
